Cook County Expands iNovah Impact with New Departmental Expansion

System Innovators (SI) is pleased to announce that Cook County, Ill. has expanded the use of iNovah’s Enterprise Revenue Management (ERM) solution in the County Clerk’s Office to modernize tax payments and revenue management. The Clerk’s Office is one of five County agencies leveraging the benefits of iNovah’s “Pay, Consolidate, Manage” approach, centralizing all County revenue into one platform.

As a client since 2018, the Clerk’s Office initially implemented iNovah to replace manual processes and gain efficiencies in cashiering and collection of payments. After great success with the solution and continued growth in the County, the Clerk’s Office chose to expand iNovah to simplify their revenue processes. The new extension of iNovah to the Tax Services Department enables the Clerk’s Office to accept additional payment types at several locations around the County. iNovah now offers citizens the ability to pay for services like property taxes while also delivering full reporting capabilities to County administrators.

The iNovah modernization project provides the County a comprehensive audit trail with real-time reporting and reconciliation for any office connected to the system. With iNovah, the County now has the ability to streamline receipting, automate refund payments, and eliminate paper intensive financial processes and duplicate receipts. All revenue management will be centrally managed in the iNovah platform.

The Clerk’s Office: Tax Services Department joins several Cook County agencies in trusting iNovah, including the Department of Revenue, Clerk of the Circuit Court, Sheriff’s Department, and Health and Hospital Systems (CCHHS). Ft. Worth Integrates iNovah with Accela

The City of Fort Worth is expanding iNovah’s usage with an integration to Accela, the City’s existing permitting system. Serving a population of 874,000 citizens, the City of Fort Worth currently uses iNovah to manage revenue in the Department of Aviation as well as the Department of Financial Services. The Accela interface will accept and handle many types of permits for the City, including Building, Zoning, and Development.

With the new iNovah integration, the City of Fort Worth will streamline reporting and create new efficiencies for staff, eliminating the double entry of data while reducing manual entry errors. Customer-facing staff will also see decreased front counter wait times in the permitting departments, increasing productivity and improving overall customer satisfaction. The iNovah / Accela integration will support the City in achieving its long-time goal of full enterprise revenue management and centralized cashiering.
