Miami-Dade County Increases Payment Security with Chip-Enabled Card Technology

Miami-Dade County is modernizing payments with the expansion of iNovah EMV chip card acceptance to Animal Services and Code Enforcement. With iNovah’s integrated EMV card solution, customers can now make quick and easy payments for services using their chip-enabled credit and debit cards.

As a client since 1998, Miami-Dade County has trusted iNovah Enterprise Revenue Management (ERM) to accept and manage County revenue through one central platform. The addition of iNovah’s EMV chip card technology will bring many benefits, including increased fraud protection, greater operational efficiency, and secure transactions for staff and citizens across the County.

The County also gains enhanced payment security, while still maintaining full connectivity to the iNovah revenue management hub. Because the solution was designed to integrate with iNovah, cashiers can accept EMV chip card payments and conduct all payment processing and reporting without ever leaving the iNovah system. iNovah’s integrated card processing seamlessly connects to eliminate the manual entry of credit card information for County staff, thus reducing customer payment times and eliminating avoidable errors.

Miami-Dade County customers can also look forward to increased payment flexibility, including the ability to pay using digital mobile wallets through options such as: Apple Pay, Google Pay, and contactless payment methods.

Cook County Expands the Benefits of iNovah Enterprise Revenue Management in Several Offices Throughout Chicago

System Innovators (SI), a division of N. Harris Computer Corporation, is pleased to announce that Cook County, Ill. has expanded the use of iNovah’s Enterprise Revenue Management (ERM) solution to the County Clerk’s Office: Bureau of Vital Records to modernize payments and revenue management. The Clerk’s Office is one of five County agencies leveraging the benefits of iNovah’s centralized “Pay, Consolidate, Manage” approach. Cook County departments trusting iNovah include: Department of Revenue, Clerk of the Circuit Court, Clerk’s Office, Sheriff’s Department, and Health and Hospital Systems (CCHHS).

As a client since 2018, the Clerk’s Office initially implemented iNovah to replace manual processes and gain efficiencies in cashiering and collection of payments. The extension of iNovah to the Bureau of Vital Records enables the Clerk’s Office to accept payments at six additional locations around the County. The iNovah solution will provide citizens the ability to pay for services like birth and death certificates, marriage licenses, business registration and notary services, while also delivering full reporting capabilities to County administrators.

The modernization of the Bureau of Vital Records’ payments and revenue management provides a comprehensive audit trail with real-time reporting and reconciliation for any office connected to the system. With iNovah, the County now has the ability to streamline receipting, automate refund payments, and eliminate paper intensive financial processes and duplicate receipts.

“System Innovators’ continued commitment to their clients along with iNovah’s already proven success motivated the County to expand iNovah further across our agencies. Kansas City, Mo. Expands their Centralized Revenue Management Approach with New iNovah Integration

The benefits of fully-connected government are growing in Kansas City, Mo. as the City goes live with a brand new integration in the Kansas City Fire Department (KCFD). The iNovah Enterprise Revenue Management (ERM) hub will provide a deeper look at KFCD’s revenue through an integration to the department’s Tyler Technologies’ Mobile Eyes source system.

Now when performing services like inspections and permitting, city fire officials and inspectors can strengthen fire prevention with the most current account information available. iNovah will enable KCFD to accept and post payments, perform inquiries, and handle voids all in one central location, while providing staff with real-time account updates.

Montgomery County, Texas Goes Live with iNovah Enterprise Revenue Management

System Innovators (SI), a division of N. Harris Computer Corporation, is pleased to announce that Montgomery County, Texas is Live with the iNovah Enterprise Revenue Management (ERM) solution. Montgomery County will leverage iNovah in 17 departments across the County to accept and manage payments for a variety of services, from airport fees to tax collection and permits.

Home to over 600,000 citizens, Montgomery County has implemented iNovah to accept, consolidate and manage all departmental revenue in a single ERM hub. Through the use of iNovah, the County will streamline their payment collection processes and improve overall revenue control.

Payments from across the County will now be imported into iNovah, reducing manual effort and the time required to update systems of record. The County will also benefit from improved reconciliation processes and the use of a scanned check interface, allowing checks to be electronically deposited to the bank.

iNovah delivers the County a fully-integrated, centralized solution for point of sale and enterprise revenue management, including auditing, reporting, reconciliation and enhanced revenue controls.

24-year Client, Fairfax County, VA to Extend Benefits of iNovah with Real-Time Interface to Parking/Citations System

Fairfax County, Virginia is bringing the benefits of real-time payment updates to both staff and customers with an iNovah interface to their new parking system. The County recently transitioned to United Public Safety (UPsafety) for the management of all parking fees and citations, and is now ready to sync the system with their iNovah Enterprise Revenue Management (ERM) hub for instant payment updates and in-depth research and reporting capabilities.

City of Garland to Integrate iNovah with CIS Infinity for Easy and Accurate Real-time Payments

The City of Garland, TX is decreasing lines at the counter and saving customer service agents’ valuable time with a new iNovah integration in the City’s Utilities Department.

After recently transitioning to Advanced Utility Systems’ CIS Infinity solution, the Garland Utilities Department is implementing a new iNovah / CIS Infinity integration to simplify their payment processes and gain real-time payment updates. The connection will enable customer service agents to quickly look-up account information, accept a payment, and instantly post the transaction to the CIS Infinity source system – all without ever having to leave the iNovah application.

Remaining in one platform will also save staff time and eliminate the double entry of data, decreasing potential errors and improving the City’s overall payment processing times. With only one screen to navigate for all payment, research and reporting activity, the iNovah / CIS Infiinity integration is streamlining the City’s revenue management.
