Kaua‘i County Makes the Move to Chip Card Acceptance with iNovah

Posted on December 18, 2019 by Ken Urquhart

Kaua‘i County, HI has joined the growing number of iNovah clients accepting EMV chip card payments, decreasing their risk for fraud and increasing customer payment choice across the Hawaiian islands of Kauaʻi, Niʻihau, Lehua, and Kaʻula. With System Innovators’ integrated card solution, Kaua‘i County gains payment security while maintaining full connectivity to iNovah, as cashiers can remain in the iNovah revenue management hub for all payment processing and reporting.

The County’s new EMV chip card technology brings increased fraud protection, greater operational efficiency, and secure transactions to staff and citizens across Kaua‘i County’s four islands. The implementation of iNovah’s integrated card processing also eliminates the manual entry of credit card information for staff, reducing customer payment times and eliminating avoidable errors.

County customers can expect to gain increased payment flexibility, including the ability to pay using digital mobile wallets through options such as: Apple Pay, Google Pay and contactless payment methods.

System Innovators looks forward to partnering with Kaua‘i County to provide the most up-to-date revenue management technology for many years to come.
