System Innovators (SI), a division of N. Harris Computer Corporation, is pleased to announce that Kansas City is expanding its centralized cashiering platform, iNovah Enterprise Revenue Management (ERM), to multiple city departments including the Health, City Planning, Fire, Regulated Industries, Water, Dangerous Buildings and Public Works. The City currently relies on iNovah to process hundreds of thousands of annual payments for Kansas City’s taxes, permitting, and court fines and fees.
The expansion will add multiple services and interfaces to further streamline end-to-end credit card processing and consolidate multiple cashiering components within source systems into one revenue collection hub. iNovah’s hub architecture permits streamlined management of payment flow across multiple payment channels including web, phone or kiosk and allocates payment data to general ledger accounts for financial systems.
“We rely heavily on iNovah as a system of record for City revenue streams and its proven performance made the decision to add more departments onto the ERM hub an easy one. iNovah’s ability to integrate in real-time to additional accounts receivable systems and System Innovators knowledge of government accounts receivable systems gives us much comfort in our decision,” stated Doug Buehler, Treasurer for the City of Kansas City, MO.
