Bexar County, TX Eliminates Manual Court Payment process by integrating System Innovators’ iNovah Enterprise Revenue Management (ERM) Solution with the Texas eFiling System.

System Innovators in partnership with the Auditor’s Office and Bexar County Information Technology (BCIT) departments have successfully integrated System Innovators’ flagship ERM solution, iNovah, to eFile Texas. The decision to integrate Bexar County’s iNovah centralized cashiering solution stems from the inefficiencies experienced from manually entering between 20,000-22,000 eFiling payments per month while also relying on a daily spreadsheet to keep track of the transactions. The new integration will lead to the elimination of up to 1,000 manual entry of transactions per day of case filings from the Attorney General and Private Attorney within the County.

This integration enables the capability to calculate filing costs, process payments, and update the eFiling System while customers are filing their documents. Payment codes are then sent to the eFiling system to set payment status. With the integration, filings generated from the Texas eFiling System are pulled in by iNovah Enterprise Revenue Management (ERM) enabling payments to be updated to the mainframe for General Ledger reporting in real-team. This integration has resulted in a faster payment process, elimination of duplication of efforts and reduced the potential for errors. Five more offices will benefit from eliminating the manual entry of financial transactions as the County continues to rollout the Texas eFiling System integration.

This integration paves the way for other Texas counties to seamlessly integrate iNovah’s leading centralized cashiering model with their court eFiling systems.
