System Innovators, Inc. debuts new technology at annual conference

May 14, 2007

System Innovators, Inc. held its annual Users Group conference in San Diego, Calif., where it demonstrated the improved data collection and security features of the newest version of its software package iNovah. Major clients from across the United States and Canada attended the three day event beginning May 14, which included a welcome reception, several panel discussions, group training sessions and a Top Gun Evening at the Miramar Marine Corps Air Station

"This was a great opportunity for our clients to get information from the System Innovators team and industry experts, as well from their peers," Chief Executive Officer Jim Simak said.

Following the Top Gun theme, attendees were broken into squadron groups to network and attend group sessions, including training on iNovah Version 2, which was released May 2. "We wanted to emphasize how user-friendly and secure this product is for our clients," President Kelley Langford said. "As far as the industry goes, this is the ´top gun´ of cashiering solutions."

Guest speaker Howard Glavin, principal consultant of Internet Security Systems, talked about iNovah´s compliance with Visa´s rigorous electronic security requirements, called Card Industry Security Practices (CISP). Other guest speakers included Paul Bazylak, the vice president of merchant relations for Visa, and Steven Jung, director of business and customer support at the L.A. branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
