What information is typically recorded for each payment?

Tracking information is recorded for each payment including: company, office, location, receipt number, transaction number, batch number, machine name, cashier ID, date and time along with payment type (s) and amount(s), and tender type(s) and amounts.  Payment specific information, such as account number, name, payment options, comments and more can be recorded as well.
